Engineering consultant would pay $8M to settle pending Flint water crisis civil cases
An engineering firm accused of negligence in pending civil lawsuits tied to the Flint water crisis would pay $8 million to avoid future trials and settle the cases, according to a new federal court filing.
Federal judge gives final approval to $626.25M settlement in Flint water crisis
A federal judge on Wednesday gave final approval to a $626.25-million settlement of civil claims against the state of Michigan and a handful of other parties resulting from the lead poisoning of Flint's drinking water, in what is one of the largest civil settlements in state history.

MARCH 2021: BONE SCAN LEAD TESTING
As you may have heard at the February 27th town hall, we have received some questions about the bone scan lead testing for purposes of the settlement. As we obtain additional information we will provide an update. Please note that the settlement does not require a bone scan lead test. There are many options for obtaining compensation from the settlement that do not involve bone scan testing.
